Melissa McDaniel

Hello, my name is Melissa McDaniel and this is my 6th year at Bell’s Hill Elementary.  I have been a nurse for 15 years with the majority of my work experience being in pediatric nursing.  I thoroughly enjoy my role here at Bell’s Hill in keeping the students healthy, safe, and ready to learn.  My goal as the school nurse is to support the educational process by promoting optimum wellness and working closely with parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators; assess and evaluate the health needs of students; accommodate students with specific health concerns.  I am a mom to three kids, ages 10, 12, and 14, so I am right there with you regarding concerns for our children’s health in school. I begin each day with the attitude of “what would I do if this were my child?” I want to assure you that your children’s health and safety are my top priority.  

I look forward to a wonderful year at Bell’s Hill Elementary!
